EXCELLENT!
More than just a "how-to" guide, the author takes you through all the facts you need to know about gathering and preparation of materials, info about types of wood, tools and techniques, and clearly explains procedures that can easily be utilized with other projects. He does all this with an environmentalist theme that is directed towards working with the right materials and cutting back on waste from wood from trees that are not useful in any particular project using natural materials. He takes you through every step that results in a beautiful and useful piece that you have created through your own efforts! What a great feeling of accomplishment by your own hands and thinking!
