This is a book all technical startup founders, co-founders should read.
It does two things phenomenally: educates towards the right (profitable) direction and teaches the most important elements of an early-stage GTM strategy.

I'm a marketing service provider who works a lot with early-stage founders, I see a ton of problems across startups, industries, and business models. I think the author found the right balance between generalizability and specific, tactical advice - which is not easy IMO.
Even I've learned a thing or two about sales ;D

What I didn't like:
- The storytelling at the book's first 1/4 was a bit too buttery for me. But maybe just my opinion. I'm mostly interested in the "meat" in non-fiction books :D
- The goal setting and performance tracking parts were definitely the weakest parts for me. Too generic.

What I absolutely loved:
- The "how to hire a sales team" and the "tactical advice" parts are game changer.
- I really liked how the author acknowledges that yes, for most people, doing sales doesn't come naturally. Versus a lot of, otherwise terrific business people (yes, I'm looking at you, Alex Hormozi...). I think this gives the book's advice higher value.

All in all, although it has some flaws, I'm giving 5 stars, as I think every technical founder should read it.

Here's what I've been reading lately. It's the latest offer from B2B Sales Advisor, Zoltan A. Vardy. It's a no nonsense 'sales manual' aimed specifically at founders or entrepreneurs who don't care, understand or fear adding the sales process to the development of their business. I liked it's straight-forward approach and whether you are a Chief Exec or street pounding Field Exec the book probably has something for you. It was a great reminder for me that the fundamentals of the sales process are the very best way to ignite your passion for the company you work for or the products you sell.

You don't have to wade through hundreds of pages of the author telling you how great they are (although of course there's a bit of that - they tell me it's to establish credibility). The information is delivered simply and practically with a decent explanation of the 'why' too. You can attack it in chunks or just read cover to cover as I did.

There's something here for anyone who think sales is important, and even more for those that don't.

This is an essential book for business founders. And I've read it twice now. It's well written, well organized, filled with real world examples -- and loaded with actionable advice.

I've read all of the popular books on entrepreneurship. But The Launch Code is the one that's been missing. It demystifies sales and lays out a clear step-by-step process for getting things right. It also makes a compelling case for why founders need to understand sales if they want to really scale their business.

If you're thinking about building a product or starting a company, you would be wise to read this book first. It gives you a blueprint that will save a lot of time and perhaps pain. And, if you've already jumped in, I'm confident you'll like this book and will quickly put it to work for you.

As a startup founder, I’ve read plenty of business books, but The Launch Code stands out because it’s not just theory—it’s a real guide that delivers results. If you actually apply what’s inside, your sales will grow.

The section on Value Proposition really hit home for us. We’re selling an innovative hardware product but struggled to clearly communicate what we were actually selling. Thanks to the insights from this book, we’re finally getting our value proposition across much more effectively.

If you're a founder trying to get traction, read this book. It’s clear, practical, and packed with strategies that truly work.

The Launch code is a fantastic guide for CEO’s and Founders to ace B2B sales and keep momentum going. Broken into easy to digest chapters and steps this is the perfect groundwork for an entrepreneur to ensure their business not only continues but thrives. Covering marketing and so much more this is the must read for any founder. That said I also found this incredibly useful as an operations executive at a small business I found this useful and will be implementing this in our B2B sales.

The Launch Code is not only for startupers. It's for every businessman who needs a needle to be able to navigate into the direction of successful sales. Whether you struggle currently with your sales or you are having the best time of your business it is always good to rethink your sales process because time will change and The Launch Code not only helps you to see your goal clearly but also gives a hand how to reach it. Zoltán not only distilled sales to its basic elements but gives you a clear guidance how to add these one after the other. If you would like to taste the success of sales then it is a must read for you.

Great read, gives many practical insights - must-read for startup founders! When starting new business for the first time in your career, it is quite typical to believe you are the first one to face certain types of challenges. And if on top of that you are emotionally too close to your product (I’ve been there…) and you don’t see yourself as a natural born sales person, The Launch Code will give you a few guiding principles and much practical advice to navigate towards success. Can be helpful indeed!

Having followed Zoltan Vardy for three years, I’ve found value in his content. The Launch Code, has particularly enhanced my B2B sales skills. Zoltan distills entrepreneurship into five actionable steps that helped me to madk complex concepts accessible and manageable.

What stands out is the book’s universal applicability. Each chapter offers precise, actionable insights. I’ve directly applied these to improve my business practices.
