A good simple to read overview on the Internet of things (IoT). The company I worked with - IMS - is a world leader in the connected vehicle space and we are pioneering some of the major developments of the IoT space.
As our company becomes more well known I'm asked to join more speaking engagements - panels, discussions, thought leadership etc. - so it's good to keep abreast of the developments in this space.
While this book is good for laymen it's a little bit too basic for our needs. As a result I found it difficult to read and hard to resist the temptation to skip over the easy parts.
Good practical introduction to IoT. Does a very good job of relating IoT concept with technologies everyone is familiar with. Covers the entire consumer IoT spectrum pretty well. It does lack in long perspective but does a good job of explaining the possibilities.
