This book is adorable! I'm tempted to quote some of my favorite lines, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. Mr. Mouse is a delightfully modest antihero, with simple needs and desires. When disaster strikes, he ... well, it's hard not to make a Big Lebowski reference (to wit: the Mouse abides). He does what any of us would do. He makes decisions that seem reasonable at the time, even though the trajectory of those decisions is a spiral that anybody can see is heading in the wrong direction.

Parents will have a lot of fun reading this book to their children. And I bet the kids will enjoy it, too.
