He tries to fly his new kite but can't seem to get it up into the air. The family who own the campground agree to help out, with near disastrous results. About the author

Yvonne Jagtenberg (Tilburg 1967) studeerde na haar pabo-studie aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Na een paar jaar in de beeldende kunst werkzaam te zijn geweest stapte zij over op het illustreren/schrijven van kinderboeken. Haar eerste prentenboek Een bijzondere dag verscheen in 2001. Dit prentenboek won in datzelfde jaar de Pluim van de Maand en werd in 2006 in Japan genomineerd.
