Here's a bit about me. My hubby and I have been married over a decade now. Our family has grown to include two perfect kids, two dogs who think they are humans and a cat who thinks he’s a dog, haha!
Writing has always been something that called to me, or rather being creative in one form or another.

Blood White is a great companion novel in the Blood series. It includes a novella, Blood Gold, which takes us back to the very beginning. It details how the earth, Alugra and the humans were created by the gods Habul, Na'ila, Isaf and Manad. There is an insight into Ishmael and At'Lat who were the first bonded King and Queen too, and I followed the struggles of their lives and their relationships with the gods.
Ishmael and At'Lat were both characters I liked. They understood the burdens placed on them and were willing to step up when needed. Their relationship began as children, so they had a deep connection when they became lovers. Their ride was not smooth and I even shed a tear during a difficult time. I am pleased that I was able to get this deeper insight to the past and to these characters.
In the second part of this book there are some fun extras. There are some important rituals that were shown throughout the series; some fun interviews with numerous characters; and some sizzling deleted scenes. These extras give greater depth to the characters I have come to love and hate throughout the series. So if you have read this series, I think it is a must read for you!!
