Bloodhound is one of the most well-written books I have ever read. I haven't finished reading yet but so far so good. The author is relatively unknown but I have to say, the prose is gratifying.

a book that will make you think through a maze of chain-like events...unexpected twists when i thought what were unfolding were the usual formulaic plots... thanks Sigrid! :) i really really had fun reading Bloodhound!

Nicely done! I like how the story was told. I would love to read more about the characters in this novel because the second that I finished the book, I kinda started missing them.

More of this please!

**SPOILER ALERT**The first sentence got my attention because I couldn't imagine a mother pushing her son off a moving vehicle.

Sigrid Salucop describes every situation, every place so well that it made me feel like I was there.

While the story starts out it with the main character looking for her ex-boyfriend, Bloodhound is no romance novel. It is a very intricate story and an intriguing one.

OMG! This novel was patterned after my own heart! My favorite part is in the convent in Turin where the protagonist saves a young nun from a dungeon and she mercilessly shoots an old nun right in between the eyes! This is the part where Fiona Finch begins to unravel. I am hoping that this character will unravel some more in the sequel. I am hoping for a sequel because I need to see this through!

Salucop offers murderous rage in The Emerald Key but she balances this with stories about love -its power to turn the tide and its capacity to inspire gentleness and kindness.

Delivered with the finesse of a seasoned writer and the introspection of a realist, this is one of most intriguing debut novels to date.

The Emerald Key is an intriguing story begging for a sequel. It touches on human nature and the power of anger. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sigrid Salucop addresses revenge and justice in her debut novel in an almost stoic fashion. Definitely worth a read!
