Some will be familiar to the radar, while others may take a different turn than ordinary considerations. All of the truths considered have been reflected upon and taught by countless Saints, Doctors, Monks, Holy Men and Women in thru Christian history.
Jesus Christ, is the cause of our spiritual life. It was because of the Word Incarnate, true God and True Man, that we are able to merit eternal life. Jesus, because he became the head of the universal Church, was able to merit for all the children of God the gift of eternal life. (Tanquerey, 1932, 40) This was possible, as the Church teaches, because God is infinite in Holiness. “God is absolute Moral Goodness or Holiness.” (De fide.) (Ott, 1954, 35) God is not only free of all sin, but it is eternally impossible for God to sin. Whatever is said of God, can also be said of the Incarnate Word, the author of our redemption, because the “Word was made flesh.” (Jn. 1:4) The Jews didn’t see Jesus Holiness or recognize it. Holiness cannot be seen as we see something thru our senses. Holiness is a quality of life and it manifests itself thru the words and actions of our life. Those who have been given the gift of faith can recognize it in themselves because God has “poured into our hearts,” the gift of his Spirit. Jesus deserves the adoration of every human being because as the Creator of heaven and earth, we would have no existence without Him. “Not one thing came to be without him.” (Jn. 1:3) Even the disobedient spirits who dwell in the darkness of eternal death, must render homage to the Word Incarnate, despite their perverted wills and intellects, which have been corrupted by disobedience and sin.
My writing career began in grade school, where I became interested in reporting and poetry. I wrote lots of poetry and prose in High School, then developed a philosophy in graduate school. After graduating from LSU and USC I became interested in dramatic writing for theater and film. My latest works have been a combination of spirituality, suspense and philosophy. Back in 2006 I wrote 4 major books, which came out of several small newsletters I registered with the Library of Congress. My present interest are in screenwriting and spirituality; how to express religious truths for the screen. One discovery as a writer is that you are always searching for the perfect way to say the same basic human experiences with more meaning, helping the reader to remember a word, a phrase a meaningful event so that the author and the reader can relate.
