A phonics focused early reader focusing on the sound -th. Clifford takes a bath and tries to stay clean, but it’s hard when he meets his friends at the park. The story is short but it was cute.
Each book in this set includes an introduction from Emily Elizabeth who tells what the story is about and introduces three sets of words: words with the focus sound (bath, with, etc), sight words (good, met), and “fun” words (beach, can’t). The “fun” words usually include some that parents or teachers might want to pre teach before the child reads so it’s nice that they are included here. The book includes an illustration and full white page with large text on each set of facing pages. This is nice for children learning to read. It is easy for them to find and follow the text.
