She never thought her high school crush would give her a second glance. He thought she was too sweet to be tainted by him. Until one night changes everything.

Mia
Moving back to Shine wasn’t my plan, but when I thought my grandmother needed me, I dropped everything to come home. That’s what I’ve always done—what’s always been expected of me.
What I didn’t expect was to run into the only boy I ever dreamed of in high school who grew up to be the most beautiful man I’d ever laid eyes on. A man who is now the Vice President of the Black Roses MC
The last thing I should do is get swept into the dangerous life that I steered clear from when I came back, but there's no denying the fierce pull between us.
And there’s no telling where I’ll end up if I give in.

Knox
My job is to protect my club and my brothers. I don’t have time for the little librarian who runs circles through my mind.
But no matter how many times I tell myself she’s too good, too clean for someone like me, she finds a way to infiltrate the walls I erected years ago.
I should have stopped myself from tasting her, from claiming her, but one kiss changed everything.
Now, there’s a danger lurking, and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. A new enemy is at our doorstep. And this time it’s my woman they’re after.

I’ve been loving this series. This one is good too and I liked a lot, just not as much as I LOVED Ozzy and Jude.
Knox what an amazing great surprise you were. Talk about sexy 🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥🥵🥵🥵
This man is the definition of broody, he is a protector through and through, he puts his loved ones first always and never waivers, he is quiet, barely smiles and nobody sees him fooling around ever.
He did have his eyes on Mia since she came back to town but nobody knew, neither did she. He never made a move and was even rude to her because he always thought she was too good for him and from another world, so he kept his distance till he can’t anymore because the desire wins.
Mia is a smart, independent woman who never had anyone helping her in anything. She was always the fixer, she sees herself as less than everyone and she never in a million years think Knox would even look her way, she has a crush on him since high school, she was 14 when he was in his last year of high school, so she had a BIG crush on him but he basically didn’t even know she existed, he saw her here and there but at the time she was too young for him. Now she’s 28 and the school librarian, he can’t resist anymore…..
Omg the tastes this man have 🔥🔥🔥🔥 he is SEXY SEXY SEXY ! The plot was not as good as the first 3 books and that’s why I’m rating 3.75⭐️ but I am obsessed with MC romances and this is a series I am following along with the NOLA (my guilty pleasure) and I regret nothing. My motto is : “when in doubt give me a MC romance” 😂😂😂😂 can’t wait for Wyatt, I have a feeling I’ll love that since the girl is a single mom.

Loved It!!

This book spoke to a lot of us especially if you have had the fantasy of the high school crush you had becoming a reality. Knox never thought he was good enough but now with Mia back in town to take care of her grandmother things are about to change.

Knox is about his club the Black Roses MC and with that always comes danger and that’s exactly why he had denied himself of Mia for so long. Mia never thought she would have a chance with Knox but now her dreams are coming true.

This book was a thrilling ride with various awesome characters that pulled me in from the start and never let go.

Knox Turner, welcome to my list of undercover super freaks 🧎🏾‍♀️.

Kate Randall has done it again, I devoured this book!

"I wish there was someone I could climb like a tree anytime the mood struck." Me too Mia, me too girl 🤧.

Ugh I loved every interaction with Knox and Mia. They made me kick my feet and giggle like a school girl so many times!

"Things like that don’t happen to me. My friends are lucky enough to have men like that in their lives. It’s never been me." I felt Mia in my soul!!!! Always the caregiver, but never anyone there to take care of her. People tending to not pay attention to your needs, or even the feelings of being alone in a room full of people.

I love that Knox took the time to learn Mia, physically, mentally and emotionally. He watched her (but not in a creepy way lol) and learned her mannerisms, plus her likes and dislikes. Kate Randall managed to write a male character that makes you realize that there is never a reason to settle for the bare minimum in relationships.

Knox and Mia had great chemistry and banter. The one being the missing piece in the other's life. Most importantly they made each other feel safe and allowed one another be their authentic selves.

Note to self get yourself a man that helps you live out your high school romance fantasies 😭

Knox is officially my favorite Kate Randall MC (no one tell Ozzy), as I had a feeling he would be. Because this man made the spice in this story delicious. He made it about Mia's pleasure, and that's exactly what she needed.

“Absolutely not. You’re in my house and let me into your body. The least I can do is make you a plate of eggs and brew a pot of coffee.” 🙌🏾

The sisterhood between Mia, Lucy, Charlie and Maizie was chef's kiss. I loved how encouraging they were to Mia, they looked out for one another, and as always I loved Lucy's ability to make everyone laugh. Knox and his brothers as usual added that extra depth to the plot, ready to go to hell and back for their women and family.

The suspense and the lurking shadow of danger that was within the story from start to finish was well written. And perfectly flowed into the story's final climate.

I didn't pay much attention to Wyatt in the other books, but he definitely has it now and August can't get here fast enough. Because the ending of this book was 🤯!!!

I have never read people drink so much coffee in my life, it's a wonder these characters can sleep 😂. And I certainly hope Wyatt's dog got that side car. He was a background star for sure.

Thank you The Next Step PR and Kate Randall for providing me with a copy of Knox and leave my honest review

This incredible read stole my breath, kept me on the edge and made me fall hard and fast. Mia and Knox gave me all the feels and there was such a lovely underlaying sweetness to their romance that I was completely charmed. The storyline not only offers up a beautiful romance, but it also delivers plenty of thrills that got my pulse racing.

Knox and Mia remind me a lot of my own store my husband was my high school boyfriend. 10 years kids and we have been together 10years this time around. This book was soo good. Threw all the drama at its core mt take way was that is ok to lean on the ones you love and not having to do everything on your own. Which is something I struggle with. I love the relationship between Mia and her grandmother. I miss mine so much so to see a dynamic that close was heart warming and made me smile every time they were together. An amazing read start to finish while this could be read as a stand alone there is a lot of mention to things that happen previously and i would absolutely start at Linc's story.

Knox knew Mia would be important to him when he saw her after she returned home to stay with her Grandma.
Mia is the one who cares for everyone and fixes/organises everything,  she remembers knox from her school days crush but never expected the pull between them.
I loved the characters and the storyline.

This is the fourth book in this impressive series, and this is Knox and Mia’s story.
Mia returns to her hometown to help her ailing grandma, and she soon crosses paths with her high school crush, Knox. Knox is the VP of the Black Roses MC, and one kiss with Mia, changes everything.
This is a well written action-packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, opposites attract, loyalty, touch her and die vibes, morally gray, humor, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, captivating page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Knox, I love you!
Okay, so Mia has had a crush on Knox since HS, but he thought the librarian was too good for him. And like the girl gang, I've been waiting for Mia and Knox to figure their sh*t out and get together since the beginning.
Compared to the other books in this series, this book is more romance than plot but that's not a complaint. And it can absolutely be read as standalone, but I really believe reading the previous Black Roses MC books (and the Irish boys!!) truly enhances the story.

Received ARC in exchange for honest review.

Knocks on your Heart

Knox and Mia may have taken first place in my Black Rose MC placement at this point.

It’s not just Knox’s words, but the actions to back up the butterflies he was creating.

“Here, let me show you,” Knox says before he leans over me.

And my girl Mia: I want to be that girl. Tonight, I am that girl.

I definitely found myself commentating during their story and highlighting away. I would rate this story between 4.50-4.75.

I received a copy of this book from Kate Randall. I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

The next installment in the Black Roses MC; Knox by Kate Randall has arrived, and what a book it is. As always, I recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it, but each book can be read as a standalone.

Mia and Knox will always have a special place in my heart, their story speaks to so many reads, regardless of gender. We all have hope that a past crush would see us for who we are and return those feelings somehow. With Mia and Knox, it leaves a little hope left for the rest of us, even if it only is a book.

Mia returns to her hometown in order to help her ailing grandmother, while it is not something she necessarily wants to do, she does what is expected of her, like always. Little does she know her hometown has more in store for her than just helping her Nan out. Her crush from high school, the one boy she has never really let go of, he’s just around the corner, and just as handsome as he was all those years ago.

Knox lives his life to protect his club, to protect his family. He get his hands dirtier than most and doesn’t mind it as long as it's for the right reasons. Chaos is circling, but the only thing that seems to occupy his mind is a face from long ago. The innocent little library that has haunted his dreams, she’s back in Shine, back in his territory. One taste and he is gone.

Holy moly! Knox might just take the top spot for MC hotties in the series, and that is saying something, Ozzy had me in a chokehold, but Knox…(fans myself) These two had some of the best chemistry in the series, with their shared history they weren’t strangers, but more like long lost lovers coming together again. Knox and Mia take the time to learn one another, truly learn one another, not the personality they show to the world, the real person behind the mask. They make such a strong connection to each other because of this, and that too leaves their spicy scenes to be top notch hot.

The story line is fast paced, easy to follow and the added suspense of danger adds just the right amount of tension to keep the reader engaged and eager for the next page. With the next book arriving in the summer, I can’t wait to see where Ms. Author takes us next.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Knox and Mia. Back when Knox and Mia were in high school, she had a massive crush on him. But nothing ever came of it. Now years have past and her high school crush has become a reality. Mia has had to come back to her hometown to take care of her grandmother. She never thought coming back to town would mean her getting close to Knox. He is a member of The Black Roses MC. He loves her club members like family and knows that with the MC life comes danger. This is why along with him feeling like he wasn't good enough, he stayed away from Mia. I loved these characters. Mia is the girl who takes care of those she loves. She would do anything for them and wants to see them all happy. With that comes the cost of her not really taking care of herself. However, Knox is going to take care of her. He is super protective of her and the connection they have is swoon worthy. I loved that he took the time to get to know Mia. To learn the things about her that are important and that made their connection all the more amazing. This is a romance that you do not want to miss reading.

This is the 4th story in the Black Roses MC Series where we get to see Knox the VP of the MC take his chance with Mia a librarian who returned to Shine. Knox is done with his thought of corrupting her innocence and boy do they have one crazy journey but continue ps to be respectful, caring and protective. Mia had a high school crush on Knox and never thought she had any chance to have something meaningful with him. The MC recently ended some trouble and with new business opportunities the MC finds themselves enjoying life. Unknown to everyone there is a new danger lurking around Mia and when it’s discovered she in an unfortunate situation where she’s left to fight for her survival. When the guys get word they rally to get answers with the help of their friends. The members of this MC are special and one of kind group of men and women who have gathered alliances and friends all over making you fall in love with each one a bit more! The ending of their story will have you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next story…

This is the first Kate Randall book I did not rate 4 or 5 stars… I’m so disappointed… I had a really really hard time finishing this book… The first 40% of this book Knox and Mia barely interact and when they do, Mia acts more like a 14-year-old girl than a 28-year-old woman —she’s all flustered, says silly things, she comes off as so awkward, blushing all the time, I just don’t know what Knox sees in her.
We also get a lot of recapping about the previous 3 books which I already read, so I didn’t need to hear all about that and we get a lot of talk about the next 2 books and I don’t need to know that either— around 45% Knox and Mia finally admit that they like each other and want to date —they fool around a little bit and we find out through a conversation Knox has with one of the managers of his strip club, that he likes Japanese kink rope play and he’s hoping Mia is into it. Mia is just very tame and quiet and sweet and it’s just not believable to me that these two have anything in common and I felt zero chemistry. 🙁

I had to deduct a star for a big error towards the end. The h MIA is kidnapped and held and the H Knox goes to save her and it states the bad guy stabs Mia but next thing they are out no mention of the stab wound and when the see the doctor at the clubhouse she asks any other injuries besides her head wound and they state no. The book overall was good 3.5 rounded to 4. Knox was all in with Mia it’s not clear if he has fucked anyone since she came back to town about a year before the start of this book. He did turn down two women he had been with in the past one he had used ropes on which he was really into the ropes I mean. I was not a fan that Mia was the second woman outside of the club that he wanted to share that with. Mia was in love with Knox had a crush on him in HS. I did like that the women caused no drama. The friendships between the girlfriends was great. Overall this was a good read.

I love a good 'I knew you back then' that is almost a second chance but not at the same time.

Knox and Mia went to school together, he was the football player she was the bookish one. Years later when Mia comes back, the toes get dipped into the like pool and then explode, in a good way.

I love them together so much. I'm glad to see Knox finally get his love that he has watched all of his brothers get. Mia allowed him to be what he needed and he did the same for her. Also the juxtaposition of a MC guy being with a librarian that doesn't turn into the stereotypical 'Old Lady' is really great.

I love this book and series. I can't wait for the what I saw at the end!

Woah, hold up I need to fan myself off for a moment. Knoxy my man! I love when a gruff, grumpy man goes all ooey gooey for the woman he loves. Knox is the quiet, doesn’t string two words together for anyone VP of the MC while Mia is the school librarian that has a crush on him since high school.
Now most of these ‘I’ve loved him/her forever’ book tropes I don’t like but this was written so well and I love the interactions of Knox and Mia. Her nervousness and awkwardness is so damn cute. Not ever over the top but stuff that makes you go man, I’ve done that in front of a crush.
I love Kate Randall’s books and I can’t wait for Wyatt to get released to continue the saga. I hope we get a series with all of Liam’s team cause that’d be so fun!

I’ve really enjoyed the series so far. I wasn’t crazy about the beginning of this book though. I’m not really a fan of when the fmc has this long standing unrequited crush on the mmc. When she’s this innocent, almost meek kind of person. When she’s awkward and can’t just be cool in front of him. It got better when they got together.

I also don’t know why Freya wasn’t around. Anytime she went out with the girls it was her, Charlie, Lucy, and maizie. Like why wasn’t freya a part of their friend group when she’s with the president?

I do kind of wish the epilogues were a little further in the future. I personally love seeing the couples married or engaged and possibly even with kids in the future. I know there’s people who hate that but I personally love it.

I’ve been waiting for Knox, the Black Roses VP’s story and it didn’t disappoint I couldn’t put it down.

There’s tension between Knox and Mia, she’s had a crush on him forever, thinking he barely notices her, while he’s convinced she’s too good for someone like him. Their slow-burn romance and how protective he is made their connection feel so real. There’s suspense with murders showing up close to home and the club wondering if they have anything to do with them that added to the tension that kept me turning pages, especially when Mia gets taken.

I also love Elaine and Gramps, they brought a smile to my lips every time.

Knox and Mia, I'm not even sure where to start. I absolutely freakin love them! I connected with Mia in such a profound way. Sometimes when you're responsible for caring for others, you tend to overlook yourself. This is how Mia struck me and I can identify with that in a huge way. Knox was exactly what she needed in every way possible. Someone who took care of her, who took the time to notice her, really notice her and learn her in not only the most intimate ways physically but emotionally as well. I completely enjoyed their journey from start to finish. Well done Ms. Randall!

Knox is a great book and I loved how everyone gets involved and the character development was amazing.

Mia moved back home to Shine to help her grandma. When she gets back to Shine, she runs into the man that she has always had an interest in.

Knox is the Vice President of the Black Roses MC and he has no time for relationships, he tells himself.

Mia and Knox have this incredible pull toward one another. One kiss changes everything and Knox starts to realize he can care for more than just the club.

What a fantastic series!

We had Linc, Jude, Ozzy and NOW, we have Knox! Oh La La!

Knox didn't think he was deserving, but I definitely thought he was!

Will Mia think and feel the same way? Fingers and toes crossed!

Action-packed, steamy, emotional and sweet!

I loved every minute spent in this world!

So glad to have binged and so happy there's one more to go!

Cannot wait!!

By farrrrrr my favorite in the series. Jude is a close second, but this one was too good. I couldn’t stop thinking about it when I wasn’t reading it. The ONLY reason it’s not a five star, is I wish she had played into more of the serial killer aspect throughout the entire book. This didn’t feel as action packed/thriller vibes until the last like 10% of the book! But other than that, I loved it! Knox is my favorite so far. I cannot WAIT for Wyatt and Maizie’s story!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 stars. I love Kate Randall’s writing—so easy to read!

Knox and Mia are incredibly sweet together. Knox is the grumpy loner type, but he’s so attentive and soft when it comes to Mia. She’s shy and awkward around him (he was her high school crush!), which makes their chemistry even more charming.

The side characters are great and play a strong role in the series. This was not my favourite, but, it was an enjoyable read!

I think this one has to be my favorite on so far!

I loved Knox from book 1 and I one I would love his own book. It’s always the quiet ones isn’t it? I loved how gentle and soft Mia is, she’s independent and will stand for things she believes in but also lets completely go with Knox to take care of her every need. This was a perfect mix of their personalities and I enjoyed the story and I can’t wait for Wy and Cash especially! Waiting not so patiently.

Knox and Mia each never thinking they could have the other. But now she has returned to take care of her grandmother. His life is not exactly ideal but the pull is strong not to mention the chemistry there between them But the danger that lurks and threatens to take Mia away from sends him and his brothers on the hunt. I loved the bond of the guys. Mia and Knox were great together.

I have read a the books this author has written. She's so consistent with her writing. Loved getting to know a couple more characters. The family dynamic is so good. The side characters are wonderful. As these 2 characters deal with their own internal issues and push through their own insecurities a wonderful love and respect develops. This was a great read.

This one was a little different than the first three as there wasn’t a big threat to the whole club, just the MFC. The author does a good job of making the story feel like a lot has happened and develops the characters/relationships but keeps the book a fast read. I will go back and read the other series that kinda connects between book 3 and 4. I look forward to the next book too!
