I'm rating and reviewing this series as twelve-year-old me, because it was one of my favorites in middle school! I never got to read all the books (this was in my pre-internet days, and I didn't know how to find stuff that wasn't carried by the local Barnes & Noble), but I devoured all the ones that I could find. The travel and adventure aspect really appealed to me, as did the loving but occasionally contentious relationship Hannah had with the angels... as did the fact that Hannah was funny and a bit of a class clown. I may not remember many details about specific plot points, but I definitely remember that Hannah used to piss off her music teacher by goofing around in band and playing her flute upside-down.
