I put this text under the genre of informational. I love Jane Goodall and primates so I chose this book based off of personal interest. I love that the book switches from real pictures and talking about Jane to also cartoon pictures and learning about primates. It's a perfect mix for students who are transitioning into longer books but the way it is set up is still so easy and interesting to read.

Found this on the Bargain shelves at our local Barnes & Noble. Nice book to introduce kindergarteners to an amazing woman who has helped change how we see animals and the conservation of our world. Reading level is for advanced second graders.
