About the author

I grew up in Great Neck, NY loving all things fantasy and science fiction - from Dungeons and Dragons and the Legend of Zelda to Star Wars and Dr. Strange. I created and imagined new worlds and stories from an early age but never knew that I had the talent to be a writer until seventh grade, when my English teacher assigned our class to write the first ten pages of a sequel to The Good Earth. After that, I was hooked.

I now live in Los Angeles with my wife, two children and a black and white alley cat with a bite out of his ear. I write with a partner, Andrew Jacobson, who is a much better typist than I will ever be.

Serie di 4 libri in cui tre famigli dovranno salvare la vita ai loro protetti, ma anche a tutto il loro mondo. La vicenda parte un po' sottotono, ma i 3 libri successivi acquisiscono più carattere. Le illustrazioni di questa edizione digitale sono un po' troppo piccole rispetto alla controparte cartacea, ma non ho riscontrato difetti di impaginazione nè errori di battitura. Anche la traduzione sembra buona, ricordo distintamente solo un'espressione infelice che viene usata un paio di volta ed è "così enorme". Il bilancio di quest'edizione digitale sembra positivo.

This amazing book collection just blew me away. I've read 3 of them now but I'm still reading the 4th, 'The circle of heroes'. Like I said on all the other reviews I did for these books separately, these were amazing and interesting and just so FUN. You could read these over and over again without ever getting bored of them!
