I didn't think that I would like this book as much as I did. It was interesting and funny and sad and the whole lot. Katrina, a student nurse, went to help in the cholera clinic in Haiti five months after her mum died of cancer. It was peaceful and healing, she said in the book. The main reason I loved this book is that it was focused on the medical field. I enjoyed reading of all the little stories of success (or not) with the patient and the care they were given.
