Sara escapes an abusive marriage and moves to London with her two children. She establishes a dress designing business with has been very successful. She meets Trigger when he accompanies Marcie Matthews to pick up her dress. He is a bodyguard for her. Sara and Trigger have almost instant chemistry and start to date. Trigger has PTSD from his time in the military. He still struggles with nightmares, Sara struggles coping with developing a relationship after her abusive marriage.
This plot is quite well developed with twists and surprises. It is great to see a Mafia romance not based in the USA.
This is the first book I have read by this author; I will be buying the first series.

I absolutely devoured this book in one day! I loved the story of Trigger and Sara, both trying to heal from their pasts and by meeting, bringing so much happiness to both of them. There was a great storyline and the right amount of spice. As always, Jax's books are easy to read but full of action, spice, and with a HEA that leaves you warm and fuzzy!

Now, how do I go find myself a Trigger!

Strong characters, realistic drama, suspenseful moments and a beautiful romance made this book a wonderful read. I liked how their relationship began then evolved into more. Nicely done.
