I don't know if it's because I'm a romantic lover girl, or because this book is so moving, or a little bit of both, but I was crying through most of it (and sobbing during the rest). Greene captures both whirlwind lust and forever love perfectly in this quick read, in an incredibly impressive way. This is a collection of poetry and short stories I see myself coming back to again and again when I need either a good cathartic cry or a reminder that the world is a beautiful place full of love; we just need to practice looking for it in the small everyday moments.

Meet Me Between Breaths by JP Greene

How do you even begin to describe this book?

Compromising of poetry and prose, the pages tell the beautiful unfolding story of Lorenzo and Eleanore.

Stunning poetry, interspersed with just the right amount of life story, you begin to piece together their time. I imagine each reader will experience this so differently to each other and therein lies the beauty of art.

Because that's what this is. It's art. In its purest form.

As a lover of poetry this was everything I never knew I needed.

"We have always been
far too great to
be contained in
just one life."

J.P. Greene has taken a unique approach to the modern love story. This book is gritty, raw and full of love. If you love love in all its forms then this book is for you. You will weave in and out through poetry and traditional prose, but don’t get me wrong, there is nothing traditional about this book.

Love this book and will for sure read it over and over again. Love the slow burn and old fashion atmosphere in the story and all the gorgeous poems.

This book was stunning. The format is so unique, with both prose and poetry that fit together seamlessly. I took my time reading this because I didn’t want it to end. Gorgeous book and one I will read again and again.

Beautifully haunting. A mix of a short story and poetry, this book envelops you in a love story between two characters and their insecurities. J.P. Greene’s way with words is indescribable and pulls at your heart.
