I was not ready!!!!

As soon as Shades of Desire and Shadows of Passion dropped, I couldn’t get to my Kindle fast enough. E. Bowser truly outdid herself with this one. From beginning to end, I was all in. This story grabbed me, held me, and didn’t let go.

Shadow’s journey took me on a dark, emotional ride. He’s drawn to Leila—an elf with a haunting scar and an even more haunting past. Her presence stirs up deep questions: Why is she still alive? What is she hiding? Their connection is intense, magnetic, and filled with passion, pain, and purpose. Every interaction between them had me holding my breath.

And listen… the secrets?! Mind-blowing. Just when I thought I had a grip on what was going on—BOOM—another twist. Hidden bloodlines, betrayals from the most unexpected people, truths that completely flipped my understanding of everything and everyone. The revelation of Leila’s true identity and Shadow’s path to discovering his Kindred and true King? I had to pause. Like, literally stop reading and breathe.

These weren’t just plot twists—they were emotional gut punches. They hit hard. The world-building, the layers of connection between the characters, the way love—real, deep, powerful love—drives this story? It was so much deeper than I ever imagined.

And let’s talk about Taria and Toya. Their friendship is everything. The way they lift each other up and stand together through it all? Whew. Written with so much heart and truth. That bond felt real, and honestly… I’m jealous. Everyone needs a friendship like that.

Now Taria and Michael?! HOT. Their chemistry is unreal. Timeless, passionate, magnetic. You could feel it through the pages. That fire between them had me blushing and flipping pages like crazy.

The writing? Top-tier. E. Bowser’s pen is unmatched. Every detail, every emotion, every twist was perfectly placed. I was gasping out loud - What?! Wait… WHAT?! - over and over again. The pacing, the revelations, the emotional depth… flawless.

This book was an emotional rollercoaster I didn’t want to get off. Beautifully written. Brilliantly layered. Soul-shaking. A phenomenal read from a phenomenal author. E. Bowser keeps proving why she’s in a league of her own.

MUST READ!!

If you have not been reading this Deadly Secrets series, you're truly missing out!! From the prologue to the epilogue, this book is so amazing it literally reads like a movie. I saw everything happening as it happened and that absolutely makes this a great story. This installment has so many hidden gems, and uncovered secrets, all of which will have you clutching your pearls. I've said it before and I'll say it again, E. Bowser has an amazing talent and mind when it comes to putting pen to paper and creating a story world. I have never been so ready to reread a book that just came out. Because everytime you read it you discover something new within the pages.  DEFINITELY A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BOOK.

Secrets and More Secrets

This was a wild ride as usual. An action packed read that brings all the vivid imagery, that deadly secrets franchise is known for. There are So many deadly secrets and so many twists and turns.

The haters from Hell are ever present, with this false sense of power and the entitlement they have at taking what doesn’t belong to them.

New secrets are revealed, Damon is still Damon. He and Toya are still my faves.
We get some surprising resurgences. Also the cliff hanger will leave you shook. You will not be disappointed.

This installment was Explosive and it blew my mind from Chapter 1!!! Reading this book was very thought provoking and it had me on pause and in awe of every new Deadly Secret that was revealed!!! Omfg Ebony Bowser you took out my edges because you literally hit me with Plot Twist after Plot Twist… All I can say is you are a absolute beast in any Genre Lane you choose to drive in and I will continue to support you!! OMG!!!!

I can not believe how this book ended. It seems just as the beginning of the war is beginning the book is ending. Nonetheless as always E. Bowser has done it yet again!!!! This was an AMAZING READ!!! The combining of the soulmates created something even more special but also created everything that was needed to fight the war ahead… I can’t wait for the next book…. As always keep writing and I will definitely keep reading. Thank you E.Bowser your penmanship of all these characters and different lives coming together was nothing short of PHENOMENAL!!!!!

This book was so good! The author has a unique way of story telling. I have fallen so deeply in love with her pen. The way she writes these characters make me feel as though I'm family. When I read these books it's like a movie in my mind. The scenes are so vivid and realistic.

Now this cliffhanger ain't right because how the heck you gone leave me like that lol. We the people want to know what had happened?
