I have mixed feelings about this deck. The art is stunning and it's an interesting concept where every one of the major arcana is connected to a flower and time of day. The guidebook is well written and even includes information about cleansing, charging, and bonding with the deck. The guidebook doesn't have reverse meanings, but not everyone believes in reverse meanings. The cards themselves are high gloss, which I personally like. This can make them hard to shuffle. The deck features mostly women with diversity, which is a plus. I only counted 6 cards with male figures, which I don't mind.

Now, why the rating? The art. As I was looking, I noticed it seemed, at least in part, AI generated. I frequently use Midjourney and even have a pro account with them. It looks like Midjourney aesthetics likely with the personalization feature on. All that means is you rate or upload images to create an art style you like, then the generated images follow that style. I do not believe it to be all AI generated. I believe the claim that it was collaged together in Photoshop likely with stock images as well. You can particularly see the collage nature on the 10 of Pentacles.

But it is clear some form of AI was used. There are anatomical issues on the 8 of Pentacles (extra finger), Queen of Cups (the hand looks odd like fingers merged together), and the 2 of Swords (there is what I think the AI assumed was a finger but forgot, and it looks almost like a part of a shirt that is not present).

Now, I personally don't have a big problem with AI art; what I have a problem with is it being passed off as something else. The publisher and artist claim it was not made with AI. I agree it wasn't FULLY made with AI. Research into the artist's previous comment from two years ago on r/midjourney indicates that AI tools were used in their workflow for other projects. Which is fine, I wish it was made clear. As people have strong opinions on AI, I feel like it should have been made clear. No ill-will to the artist, I enjoy the work. Overall, I enjoy the deck.
