This book diving back into the Blackwood Billionaires is full of angst.
I don't know if I've ever read a character grumpier or more closed off then Ben. He's had things in life that took his heart and buried in the sand. There is lightness to him, but it only comes in waves. He's got too much grump and gruff to let the mask be pulled off for long.
Sofia might have met Ben by chance at his favorite bar, but he definitely made a big impression on her. She had no idea she's come into work to find her one night stand there, or the fact that he was the boss and a Blackwood at that. She's had her share of heartbreak, and is also trying to keep her heart on a tight leash.
As you go you can really see the trauma they have both suffered that let them to the negative thinking they live with daily. They also bring out a lighter side to each other that everyone around them can see. Being stuck together on a project away from home and close quarters is hard for both of them.
I loved to watch Ben soften and see he liked who he was with he was with Sofia. Sofia softened her edges, and couldn't resist Ben even when she thought they could. The situation might have been intense, and far from normal, but it doesn't make it any less beautiful.
It's a hard, long, messy road for both of them as they come together. It was worth it, but even as a reader you felt the relief with they finally gave in to be together. Ben having some heart to hearts with his family and his father.....touching. lil cryey, but worth the read!

Ben and Sofia’s encounter led to them engaging in a steamy night together, with the understanding that there wont be a second time, but neither one of them realised their night together was the start of their destined life.
Ben and Sofia spent time together personally and professionally, where they got to know each other intimately and also built a friendship, but everything changed after she found out the consequences of their trysts. Luckily, Ben and Sofia were able to realise their true feelings for each other before it was too late, so they could get a chance at a wonderful happily ever after.
This story a great enemies to lovers story between two headstrong individuals, that grabbed my attention from the beginning and kept it all the way until the end. The balance of drama, heat, banter and emotion, ensured I had a great reading experience. This book deserves to be on your TBS list.

Rebellious Hearts is the second book in the Blackwood Billionaires (Blackwood Legacy) series. This series is about the four Blackwood siblings and this book is about the oldest brother, Ben. When he is given an assignment for the family business he ends up in a small town that will bring him a whole lot of surprises. It starts when he is in a local bar and meets the lovely Sofia. They have a one night stand which is some toe curling hotness. So imagine both their surprises when they end up discovering they will be working together on the project. She brings a whole different viewpoint on the town, what they need, and what the Blackwood business could deliver and how they would benefit. Being in a small town is different from what Ben is used to and that includes Sofia and their developing feelings. Add in an unexpected pregnancy and you have a lot more to contend with.
This book is at times a wild ride one the emotional roller-coaster. Both Sofia and Ben are likeable characters, even if I did want to shake some sense into them both at times. I look forward to the next book in this series to see what happens for the siblings next.

This is the 2nd story in the Blackwood Billionaires - Blackwood Legacy Series where Ben finds himself doubting his position in his family with being adopted last and the oldest of 4 boys he’s always felt as though not fitting even though he’s been loved by his adoptive parents. The fact that it’s not common knowledge to the press Ben has a hard time being opening up with his family by keeping a shield up protecting his heart from his past. When Ben is tasked with closing the next big business venture he’s given a teammate, Sofia. It’s interesting that these two meet prior to their trip and had an amazing night so Sofia is unsure how to handle Ben’s attitude. When the investor meets them he questions Ben’s way of life but falls in love with Sofia. With the deal on the line Ben states that him and Sofia are married. These two genuinely have something special but allow their past to blow up this growing relationship and the deal. Ben finds a way for redemption by stepping investing personally with the project, doing right with Sofia and becoming the man his parents knew he was! Rebellious Hearts has charm, suspense and definitely a page turning romance. This novel had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I was turning the pages as fast as my eyes could read the words on the pages. Rebellious Hearts is the journey of Ben and Sofia. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about who Ben and Sofia were as the main characters. I also enjoyed seeing their story coming to life through the pages of this incredible romance. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Ben and Sofia is undeniably irresistible and absolutely breathtaking. Author Josie Hart continues to show what a phenomenal author, storyteller and writer she is with each book I have read by her so far. In my opinion, Josie Hart puts her all into the stories she creates and writes for her audience’s enjoyment. I can’t wait to see what she’ll come up with for her next book. Rebellious Hearts is most certainly a book that I would give as a recommendation for anyone who is looking for a new surprise pregnancy romance to read.

Ben was one of the fourth Blackwood’s brothers.
They were rich and had the opportunity to work on their family business he was in charge of private plane sales.
He didn’t do relationships,only one night stands, because of his past he built a wall to protect himself from the world.
one night he was celebrating with his friends in a bar ,there his eyes catch a beautiful brunette and he went to talk with her and her friend , they moved to their table to catch up,and he finished sleeping with her.
His brother Alex sent him to open a second factory in Harborview but he didn’t want him there alone so he told him that a woman is going to accompany him,a business development .
The woman was no one else than the one he couldnt take off his mind.
He was angry because he couldn’t concentrate ,why his brother didn’t have faith in him and send him alone.
The person that they have to convince to join for the project believed in true love his wife had died few years back.
He told the client that they are married and that they are in love.
Woow a story that I really loved reading,
It makes me laugh and cry.
But It’s worth it , I really recommend it because I know who will read, will loves it too 😉

Look, I’m the type of reader where if you market a book as certain trope, that it should come into play during the first part of the book. Otherwise, I kind of view it as false advertisement. That’s what happened here. This book is very clearly labeled as an accidental pregnancy, yet this didn’t happen until 70% and felt rushed. We did not even get to see much of the pregnancy at all. Additionally, I felt as if the 3rd act conflict was resolved way too quickly. The way the hero treated the heroine after finding out she was pregnant was just kind of swept under the rug and forgotten about because he finally told the heroine he loved her and was all in. These are obviously just my personal opinions and views, but I always feel I should be honest.

Truly a gripping, heart-wrenching love story. Ben’s main focus in his memory has been his biological parents who gave him up & had learned they kept the next 3 siblings. Very bitter, grumpy, feeling unloved & had built walls around his heart. Then he was adopted by a couple who loved him as their own but he still felt like an outsider with the other 3 adopted boys in the Blackstone family. Sofia, worked in another dept. at Blackstone Inc. not knowing Ben was a CEO for one of the dept.’s when they met at a classy bar on the wknd. That night, there was a connection between them & Ben was showing his loving side towards her. Had she had known who he really was, she wouldn’t have had the one-night stand. Now, they’re working on a huge project together & this is where the story gets really messy & juicy - full of emotions, from rebellious feelings to admitting they love each other.

OH WOW this was a great book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was insane and intense. It was addicted and it was mind blowing of lies. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. Ben and Sofia had to pretend to be married for and investor deal. But they never knew that they both a have some deep feelings for one another. They couldn't fight the temptation any longer. The chemistry was sexual attraction and the physical tension was captivating of passion and romance. One night with him will change their lives forever in this moment and in this second. This was a great Enemies to Lovers, Fake relationship, grumpy sunshine, surprise pregnancy read.
Sofia has been hurt in the past and is not interested in the whole white picket fence, family, happily ever after thing. She is very smart and successful in her career and she feels that is enough.
Ben is closed off to love because of his past and only does one night stands.
When they find themselves in a work situation that throws them together, that’s when the undeniable attraction is really apparent. One thing I loved about Rebellious Heart is that is not only Ben who isn’t interested in a long term relationship but Sofia isn’t as well. They both have their past hurts to get over, but once they do it’s amazing! This book was sweet and Ben turns out to be pretty romantic. It definitely had quite a bit is sexy time. Overall I think it was a great read with lots of feels throughout and I highly recommend! Looking forward to more of the Blackwood Men!!

Love Ben. He’s a very compelling character with great growth. Sophie is a very likable character but I can’t come to terms with her ever changing mind on kids. He last relationship ended because she wanted kids and he didn’t, but when he gets pregnant with Ben, she keeps saying she never wanted kids and never wanted to be a mom. Which is it girl? Cool if you changed your mind, but to say you never wanted it when you clearly did is just a blatant lie.
I’ve also never been a huge fan of the miscommunication trope. If this too had just sat down like adults and talked about the pregnancy we could’ve skipped a lot of heartbreak

The story starts a little slow and redundant but it picks up. It becomes a whirlwind of emotions. Two damaged people become a team. This is their twisted crazy love story. It is filled with heat, anger and fear but there is a whole lot of love involved as well. Ben and Sofia are soulmates but it takes them a bit to admit that what they have is the real deal. I enjoyed reading their story. I also enjoyed reading the lesson in this storyline about helping people who need a hand up and wealth is in people who love you, not money .

What started as a lie to help Ben and a hot steamy night grows into something more and everything changes when it turns out Sofia is pregnant. Can they make it together and show each other that they both care about each other and that Sofia can make Ben understand that he is no less than anyone else and that he is important and that she loves him? A wonderful story with great characters. A page turner and recommended!

Holy cow this book has me all up in my feels!!! I love these kinds of romance books!!! This book is a grumpy/sunshine, surprise pregnancy, boss /co-worker romance. The storyline was original, heartbreaking and heartwarming and pages-turning. The characters had amazing banter and chemistry. They had me laughing and tearing -up throughout this whole book. Josie Hart has created an exciting and spicy series and I can’t wait to see which Blackwood brother comes next!!!.

Ben is the self labelled black sheep of the 4 brothers as he is grumpy and doesn't believe people will stay in a relationship with him. If I had to choose to read just one book for the week, I would choose this romance story right here because Josie has written one AWESOME book. Of course, it didn't take me a week to read this book because once I started it, I could hardly contain myself and had it finished in record time. Ben and Sofia have to be two of the most captivating characters ever and OMG what an ending this book delivered.

What started out as a deception turns the tides when Ben and Sophia's fake marriage has feelings getting involved. In order to win over a client Ben needed marriage as an enticement and getting Sophia on board set everything into play that is until two pink lines showed up. Will the pregnancy change Ben's and Sophia's marriage from a fake one to the real thing. This story kept me glued to the pages. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

In the book, Rebellious Hearts, by Josie Hart, the attraction and heat between Ben and Sofia was apparent from their first meeting, but as in any romantic relationship, nothing is as it seems on the surface. Their were several plot twists, turns, and obstacles. The story touched on a few issues, like abandonment, low self-esteem, and trust. Both Sofia and Ben have past baggage to deal with, but Ben is a perfect example of hurt people hurting others, Ben's sulky childish attitude, unwillingness to move past his demons, projecting his faulty assumptions on others, and not taking responsibility for his actions was tiring. I am glad that his brother Alex, and his best friends were not afraid to call him on his foolishness.

I absolutely loved this book. There was instant chemistry between Ben and Sofia. I wasn’t expecting Ben’s (the MMC) petulance to make me laugh as much as it did. It was kind of adorable. He and Sofia were so good together and I enjoyed their journey. The spice was top notch too. Highly recommend this.
