This book describes 28 entry points in the eastern part of the BWCA Wilderness- those accessible from Sawbill Trail and the Gunflint Trail. It then suggests two routes from each entry point (a shorter route and a longer one). The reader is given a day by day guide through the entire trip with points of interest noted along the way.

Lots of great information. I use this guide before starting any trip to the BWCA. Even if you don't follow the trips described, there is enough information to freestyle a great experience in the wilderness.

This book would have been much better if it included maps. I read the Kindle version, so perhaps there are maps in the printed version that didn't get translated to digital.
