A supertanker carrying liquefied natural gas explodes in New York Harbor, setting fire to Manhattan, overwhelming the New York City fire department, and claiming millions of lives
Not a literary classic by any standard, but enjoyable. Passably written, but the main question is: Does the thought of Manhattan being destroyed bring a smile to your face? If it does you'll like this book, otherwise you propably won't
All in all, this wasn't a bad book. I felt that the ending was weak and that the story just stopped. Some of the dialogue was poorly written and at times I found it difficult to determine who was speaking. However, the story moved along fast enough and kept me reading until the end.
