Realigning Medicine by Dr. Jordan Barber was such an enlightening read! While it’s geared toward healthcare practitioners, I found the practical advice on aligning work with values and purpose relevant for anyone in health, wellness, counseling, or coaching.
I appreciated how Dr. Barber shared real-life examples and lessons learned, it never felt opinionated, just full of attainable pointers. Even though I don’t run a medical practice, it made me reflect deeply on my own path of supporting women who are grieving pregnancy loss.
It’s an easy read, but one that leaves you thinking long after you finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for inspiration to realign your work with purpose. 🌿

I'm a student midwife and I just finished reading this book to get an idea of how to build my future practice. This guide is an easy and energetic read, packed with anecdotes, and it's almost like the act of reading is simplified for you because the book wants the bulk of your work to take place within. I really appreciated the exercises to help you brainstorm some of the most nebulous parts of your business trajectory. It compliments dense "How to Business" texts.

It is engaging, insightful and enlightening. I wish I had this book when I first started my own medical practice sixteen years ago.
