This book gives an easy overview of the basics of Mandarin Chinese. I am still working on the beginning level, so I can’t speak as to whether the intermediate or advanced levels are any good. The beginning level I found to be clearly laid out, though challenging. I found the explanation of the Pinyin shorthand to be extremely helpful, especially with the clear pronunciation guide. Multiple bonus materials if you leave a review.

This book is a very complete guide for students who want to learn Mandarin Chinese. It has grammar, pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and short stories. Apart from that, it has several levels, from beginner to advanced.
I liked that there were exercises with keys, so we could practice what we learnt.
