The fusion of art and science is always a remarkable and delightful occasion, especially as a lover of both fields. This wonderful little book pairs 70 remarkable and peculiar insects with spectacular illustrations by Carim Nahaboo and charming anecdotes/pieces written about them by Ross Piper. A great read for any naturalist or insect enthusiast.

Creatures in Dr. Piper’s book are really interesting. Each insect has wonderful information about it provided by Dr. Piper. And each has been illustrated beautifully by Carim Nahaboo. I do not want to encounter any of the insects in this book, but I probably have unknowingly.
