a steamy short featuring an Egyptian palace servant & a Nubian gladiator who conspire to take down the tyrant pharaoh. intriguing! the plot pulled me in, but it just did not hit. the writing was repetitious with too many metaphors, but still somehow very run-of-the-mill, which made me suspicious if it was written with the use of ai. the ending was meant to be a cliffhanger, but was too abrupt & fell flat.
