Civic Entrepreneurship: A Civil Society Perspective on Sustainable Development

Rate this book
Civic Entrepreneurship is a history of the future. The seven volumes in this series list over 1,000 cases, identified by practitioners of sustainable development in 70 countries, as successful examples of sustainable development. The series is the result of a multi-year collaboration between over 350 civil society practitioners from 70 countries; the process was led by UNEP's Division of Policy Development and Law (DPDL), the Stockholm Environment Institute - Boston Center, and the Ring.

This first volume presents a global synthesis of the findings of the project while the remaining six volumes focus on the experiences with sustainable development in Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, West Asia and North Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe.
