I chose this book because I had read another by this author and enjoyed the genre and her style. This book is a little more cerebral with a group of interesting characters and different layers that pull you in completely. I believe it is an amazing read for a wide variety of readers. As the first of what I hope is a long series of books with Breeze Lee as the lead character, the author skillfully eludes to a great many elements that have yet to unfold. I finished this book and immediately wanted the next. A must read and I know will be an amazing series.
