In six masterly and moving chapters, Karl Konig studies these key moments in the interconnection of the human soul and the course of the year: the sense of self; boding; forgetting and losing; seeking, finding and gaining; the words "heights" and "depths"; "heaven's own fruit of hope"; and the Winter and Christmas verses.
Karl König was an Austrian follower of the religion of Anthroposophy. He was a paediatrician and founded the Camphill Movement, an international movement of therapeutic intentional communities for those with special needs or disabilities, based on anthroposophic principles.
