Rich Dad, Poor Dad was written by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter. It was first published in America in April, 1999 with one million copies sold within only half a year. In March, 2000, the Korean edition was published; in June, 2000, the book was published in Australia; in September, 2000, the edition in simplified Chinese was published ranking first in book sales for 18 consecutive months and the top 10 best sellers for two and a half consecutive years.
