Gita for Jacob: A book about a book Come, discover this timeless treasure

Rate this book
In Gita for Jacob, Dr. Aptekar invites the reader to discover the Bhagavad Gita, the text that has been handed down through many centuries of Indian culture and stood the test of time.
She discovered this book herself just fifteen years ago in a land far away from India, and this literary endeavour is her contribution to share what she gained with many with anyone who is willing to listen and willing to read, starting with her own husband, Jacob.
Her book is replete with anecdotes and stories, along with the principal topics of the Bhagavad Gita and spiced with a little medicalese, which makes for an easy read.
