Charlie’s mother has passed away, and he lives with his father, who is dating a woman named Lydia. Charlie doesn’t like her very much.
One night, Charlie hears noises under his bed, and his adventure begins.
This book is a beautiful journey through the pain of losing a beloved person. It is full of strange characters, and we can discover some values within its pages: loyalty, friendship, courage, and love.

I am a huge fan of Elden Friesen's books and Charlie and the Queen of Shadowgrove did not disappoint. Charlie goes on an adventure with the monster under his bed named Fumble. This is a great book for kids starting to read chapter books. My son and I enjoyed it so much it we were sad to see it end. Elden, thank you again for another great book!.
