Ridge and Quinn. Hes ex military. He likes his solitude. He charts the stars at night and teaches snowboarding at day. He diffenitly doesnt do relationships. So his brother Zane sees a chance to bring a little romance to his brother. She has her head in the stars. Shes not looking for a relationship. Needless to say neither is impressed with the other but the chemistry is diffenitlly there. Their first meeting is a hugh argument. You know what they say about anger being foreplay. It seems that they have more than one thing in common. Then it hits him shes Gradys little sister. Grady doesnt know. Now isnt this a conundrum. Hes like an angry bear and she likes poking the bear. His brothers and friends Zane, Slate, Fox and Grady are hilarious. Love how they bond over their common interests. How every word or comment she utters surprises him and endears her to him more. Loved this story and was a really great read that I couldnt put down.

Ridge is a loner and loves his life as a mountain man but he has a younger brother who decides to sign Ridge up for a mail-order bride. Quinn is a researcher who loves looking at the stars. I loved how the author brought Ridge and Quinn together and how neither was looking for love but love found them. This is a fast paced, mountain man romance with great characters that had me cheering them on to get their happily ever after. Promised to the Mountain Man is a steamy addition to the Rugged Hearts series. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Promised to the Mountain Man is the seventh book in the Rugged Hearts series. This story is a mix of age-gap, best friend's younger sister/brother's best friend, mail-order bride, wild chemistry, stars and constellations, and a lot more all swirled together. The story is about Quinn Stevens and Ridge Warner, neither of which is looking for a romance or marriage. But that does not stop family from getting into the mix and bringing them together, which sets off all sorts of sparks and light shows.

OMG this is the type of romance book that will have you shutting the front door, sitting on the couch and devouring this entire book in just a few hours. The best part is its calorie free to devour. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Ridge and Quinn and the ex- military mountain man trope in this book by Aria. This book has some awesome writing, and the storyline is plain and simple a WOW.
