I don’t usually read ebooks, but the cover art for A Cat’s Promise: Secrets of the Kingdom caught my eye, and I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did because this book turned out to be such a fun ride.
The story is unique and entertaining. It follows Leona who’s supposed to rule a magical kingdom but has absolutely no magical skills and she accidentally curses herself and turns into a cat and her journey to break the curse and exploring the world outside her magical forest for the first time.
One of the highlights for me was the humor. The rivalry between Felle and Dean was super funny, and the way Felle roasted him.
I was genuinely surprised how different this book felt from other fantasy stories I’ve read. The concept was fresh and creative, and the mix of humor, adventure, and self-discovery kept me hooked from start to finish.
Honestly I’d give A Cat’s Promise: Secrets of the Kingdom a solid 5/5. It was funny, unique, and such a good read. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something lighthearted and magical with humor.

Reading about Leona's story from start to finish was a beautiful adventure of self-growth and relationship building; starting in the world of Caillte, we see Leona as a young, naive princess who has been shielded from the realities that her world harbors. I absolutely loved to see her adventures, her growth, her companions, and the world building that took place in this novel. I am so excited to be apart of more potential adventures of Leona.
