Good insights ruined by poor presentation (how ironic!). Many of these essays appear here in translation, and, honestly, it's pretty bad - repetitive, redundant, stiff. It's just odd language and I'm not even sure they made sense ie conveyed the original meaning. Moreover, with few exceptions, most of these texts suffered from a general lack of clarity. So overall not terribly useful, there are better anthologies out there on this topic.

This anthology focuses on the agency of exhibition choices in creating and dissemination knowledge. According to the editors, the narrative of exhibitions is a fragmentary fiction, shaped to the aims and objectives of the exhibition’s designers and curators. The Editors also made a distinction between thinking critically about exhibitions and thinking critically about museums, two interconnecting but separate entities. Exhibitions may be temporary, and exist outside transition museum spaces.

È stato difficile finire questo libro.È borioso nella maggior parte degli articoli, e ripetitivo. Alcune parti sono molto utili per comprendere la metodologia dell'esposizione d'arte, ma per il resto è solo prolisso.
