If there was one word to describe Author Johnie Jay, it would be passionate. He has always been verbally passionate but it wasn't until his first creative writing class, in 9th grade, when he found that his passion, mixed with his vast and lucid imagination could create temporary getaways. That's all a book is really, a getaway from the world, an escape. "I want every word of every sentence to be evocative. If I can't make you feel, taste or smell every scene that I create then what's the point?" Romance and passion goes hand in hand but when you add to it detailed and vivid sex scenes you're left with an explosive concoction. He has blended all three harmoniously in his first romantic novel, Inevitable. Born and raised in the small city of Inkster, Michigan Johnie Jay looks forward to sharing his imagination with the world!

The first 18% of this book is some scenes from the first book. I was a little confused at first because the book start it was no indication that this was the prelude or a flashback from the first book. I went back to check the scenes in the first book just to make sure I was reading the same story. Even with that happening it was still an okay read. Future is back and more determined than ever to try and find the mystery woman. He hasn't given up his player ways but the lady in red makes him start seeing things differently. Brianna, is still hanging out with her girls. She thought she may have found someone to take seriously but will he be THE guy.

If you read the first book then I would say you would want to read the second one.

As always I am ever so happy to have read Act II. I tried waiting until this weekend, but you know how cliffhangers work. This was a great continuation of Act I. Jay's writing style continues to be a favorite of mine. I am so thankful for his Instagram page otherwise I would have been completely in the dark in regards to his writing capabilities. For those of my viewers that track my blog, trust me when I say you will thoroughly enjoy this series. Please do yourself a favor, read the books in order (Act I then Act II lol). I love how this second book wrapped up some lingering questions from the first. I do however wish this series was about 5 acts long. I believe there is more to be told especially with Angela's best friends.

The first 2 chapters of this book are the exact same as 2 of the chapters from book 1. It would've been nice had the author made readers aware of that. There were a few more issues with this book that just made the story okay.

Must read!!!

This is a must read....Both Act I & II. This story really pulls you in and you can't help but wonder what is going to happen next. I loved the detailed scenes.
