I really enjoyed the storyline and the twists. (Omg, the twists!) There was good world building which added a nice layer to it. The spice was yummy and not over powering the plot. The ending...I'm not going to give it away but the ending really pulled at some heart strings. Great story overall!
Absolutely enjoyed this story! The world building was imaginative and the characters were fun. I absolutely loved how unapologetically herself the FMC is too There was spice but it didn't over power the plot. And the twists...OMG, the twists. I really enjoyed this. 5 out of 5.
This book was amazing!! The banter had me reeling. The world building, build up, everything was just so so good! Every time I thought I knew what this world was a fell further into the story!! I need more!!
This book has everything one would want. Dragons, magic, great story and world building, and that banter, and of course spicy scenes! The way Kai and Nyathera are together is fabulous. A true relationship with love and no trickery. I enjoyed seeing how Kai and Nyathera grew together emotionally, and magically. They pushed each other to be their best self. For a demon Kai is a true gentleman to Nya but to those who want to harm her the demon side comes out. The connection Nyathera has with Runi(dragon) reminds me of Fourth Wing only I like this connection bond better. Margie and her love and advice to Nyathera is beautiful and gives Nyathera that mother daughter relationship she has longed for. The ending had me fee!ing all the emotions and screaming eight along with the characters. The author has a way with words and you can tell she poured her heart into the story. Truly excited for the next book. I need more Kai and Nya
Nya’s journey through Mearin Battle College and into the City of Shadows and Nightmares had me glued to every page. The twists - betrayals, shocking discoveries about her, and the dark magic lurking around every corner - completely caught me off guard. I devoured this book in just a few days; it’s a gripping mix of heart, danger, and surprise that I can’t stop thinking about!
