Tales from a Corporate War

Rate this book
Humanity was faced with a choice, either slowly move towards the total extinction of the human race in the next few hundred years, or rebuild human civilization among the stars. By relying on the private tech sector companies, humanity began properly venturing into the cold depths of space. Thus plunging the Galaxy into a technologically enabled expansionist boom.

It is now the XXIV century.

The corporations that saved our civilisation have also forced colonists into a state of permanent corporate conflict. Offering goods and product packages in predatory fashion. Threatening to cut valuable and essential services. Actively using the non-settlement territories as weapon test-sites in their “micro-corporate wars”. The Interstellar Nations Council does nothing about that thanks to the lobbyists from the Military-Industrial Complex faction. Mercenaries are utilised almost everywhere. This is their galaxy now and these are their stories.
