Through many life lessons and accepting and evolving in his abilities, he is now a well-seasoned and gifted psychic medium. He brings healing and closure to many who are suffering the loss of loved ones. Although Mr. Rivera charges a very minimal and fair price for the work that he does, he also volunteers for a number of groups for bereaved parents. He believes he was given these gifts for a reason and uses them only for the highest good. Mr. Rivera is a Spiritualist Christian and is able to comfort people from all walks of life. His belief is that we are all God's children and that our hearts and intentions are all that matters. He has an uncanny ability to bring peace to many individuals. He is now writing another book.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to be a psychic and a medium—someone who can sense, hear, and see things and spirits not perceptible with the physical senses, this book is for you. "The Shining Within Me" is a refreshingly honest and unpretentious account of the challenges and discoveries faced by Freddie Rivera as he learned to accept and work with his God-given gifts of extrasensory perception and mediumship.
Easy to read and highly entertaining, this book is a sure page-turner. It will leave you enlightened, inspired, and filled with the knowledge that there is more to life than meets the physical eye and that loved ones who have crossed over are still near in spirit and eager to communicate with us.

A bit long
I found most of the book interesting, I am a believer, but the part where Elvis turned up was a bit hard to swallow. The testimonies from people who have had readings went on a bit, that I ended up skipping bits. Book would have been better if shorter.

Amazing book! I was so engrossed I couldn't put it down. It was touching and educational. I am an avid reader of anything paranormal, but this book was different. It had a very personal touch added to it that you don't usually find in these types of books. So worth the read.

What a heart felt story examining the process of mediumship with the enhancement of God's purpose. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in spirituality and in obtaining a better relationship with God.

Freddie is the real deal as I have had a reading with him that was spot-on. I enjoyed reading about his life and how he came to realize his gift. A very enjoyable and enlightening book.
