Apasionante (al menos para mi) recorrido por la historia de la moda, desde sus inicios hasta los años 20 del pasado siglo XX.
Todas las paginas están ilustradas con preciosos dibujos muy fieles a la realidad histórica. las explicaciones son muy sencillas y traen explicaciones no sólo de los complementos o la forma de vestir de la época, sino de como era la sociedad y como marcaba estaba la vestimenta.
Se trata de un regalo que aún guardo con mucho cariño y que ojeo a menudo.

This informational book takes young readers through the history of the multiple types of clothing people have worn from century to century. I think this would be very appealing to young readers because of the comparisons they would be able to make as time went on. I like this book and I too find it very appealing.
The historical information found in this book could be beneficial in a classroom by comparing an outfit of a child's choosing to an outfit they would where themselves, in present day. The students could read the book independently and choose which time period was most appealing to them. Once they chose, they could draw it and then draw their own outfit and explain the differences in physical appearance and in time periods.
The difficulty for reading independently regarding this book is a problem, but if students are able to pick the time period they want to focus on it would be completely manageable without being overwhelming. I think this book could offer many interesting projects and benefits with its qualitative information.
