Someone clearly isn’t in the holiday spirit when the Glen Lake First Annual Christmas Craft Fair is plagued by nefarious attempts to sabotage its success.
When Annalise, Eva, Jennifer, and Sarah, otherwise known as the Cozy Quilts Club, signed up for a vendor’s table at the Fair, they never expected to be drawn into another criminal investigation.
But when one of its participants is murdered, the Club is once again challenged to solve the mystery. In the process, they discover that not all is rainbows and unicorns between several of the vendors. Would one of them resort to murder, though?
Find out in The Christmas Craft Fair Caper, book six of A Cozy Quilts Club Mystery series. This can be read as a standalone book.
After retiring from her day job of nearly 33 years, Marsha DeFilippo has embarked on a new career of writing books. She is also a lifelong avid crafter and has yet to try a craft she doesn’t like. She spends her winters in Arizona and the remainder of the year in Maine.
Someone seems to be trying to ruin the Glen Lake First Annual Christmas Craft Fair. But when those attempts turn into murder, it’s time for Eva Benjamin, Analise Jordan, Jennifer Ryder, and Sarah Pascal, AKA the Cozy Quilts Club, to step in and offer their paranormal abilities to assist the police in finding the killer!
Annalise had begun to dream. She saw a woman knock on the door of room 214 to deliver a room service cart with two domed dishes. No one answered so the woman went inside to leave the cart, but saw a man’s motionless body on the floor, suddenly realizing he was dead! Running from the room, she reported it and the hotel manager arrived to determine if he was truly dead or had just passed out drunk. Definitely dead, so he called 911, identified the man for the police as Benjamin Brooks, and left the room while the ambulance took the body away. Annalise awoke, shivered, and a voice in her head said, “It wasn’t an accident. He was murdered.”
The actual victim was associated with the Craft Fair! And he was killed in an attempt by his killer -- who seems to have lost all touch with reality -- to steal back some incriminating photos. Would Annalise discover what happened? And would Liam arrive in time to rescue Annalise when the murderer gets there first to confront her?
I definitely recommend starting the series from the beginning so you'll connect better with and understand the characters and their paranormal abilities If you can't, though, things are definitely well-explained so you can read this as a stand alone.
In this book Eva, Analise, Jennifer, & Sarah have a booth at a local craft fair, and .when someone connected with the event is murdered, they use their paranormal abilities to help police solve the murder.
With this one, the culprit is not revealed immediately as in some of the other books,
The friendships of the main female characters is definitely a big part of the charm of these books, though they also have lives apart from the friendship, and that's something this book gets into, particularly with one of the women.
This was a pretty quick read, and I enjoyed it!.

This was an enjoyable read that was fun. The Cozy Quilts Club has to use their paranormal talents again when someone is murdered at the local craft fair they are in. I haven't read any of the other books in the series but I was able to follow along well during the mystery. Their friendship between all of them is wonderful and helps them as they work to solve the mystery. I will definitely be reading more books in this series as I want to learn more about the Club.
