This is a slim volume, it is an introductory manual, and is generally straight to the point of the subject. The writing style is not easy to read, this may be due to the almost paragraphless nature.
The value of the book is that is doesn't mess about and gets directly to the heart of the matter.
If you are a good reader it's a good place to get the basics on Lectio Divina
