Good for its time

This book blew my mind. Main point: different cities have different economies with different "configurations of inequality." In each configuration, different categories of people are related by varying levels of inequality. For example, in some economies, when gender inequality is reduced then racial inequality grows, etc. Policy relevant. Loved it.
