Sherlock has been shot in the chest; John has been shot in the heart. Though everything is broken, they do their best to heal the wounds that Mary left on them both.

"The breakdown: 35. Canuckian. ESL professor. Choir conductor. Former/now part-time classical singer. Writer. Extreme Geek. Diehard Johnlock shipper. Not a fan of Mary, at all. Firm believer that Mary needs to face justice for her many crimes and to do it elsewhere, and the sooner her departure comes, the better."

I recently discovered SilentAuror on AOL and I love all of her Sherlock fan fiction. This one is my favorite. It's a "fix it" fic for Season 3 and deals with a lot of the frustrating elements of that series such as where John was and what he was thinking after Sherlock was shot, what happens with his wife, etc. Well written and it 'soothed my soul' after the frustration of Season 3. Highly recommended.

It was good. Wounded Sherlock and betrayed John, both nursing each other. The Mary plot line was always my least favorite, not because John was in love with her but the tragedy of timing and lying.
