While this is a pretty extensive guide built on its previous iterations, its flaws can't be overlooked. Sadly, this book is another example of a FNaF book that didn't get enough effort/close attention during the production process. There are several instances of photographs being put in wrong places, of entries referring to incorrect pages for further information, and other inconsistencies (such as a few specific animatronics being labelled as appearing in FNaF World while ALL the others aren't).

What makes this so disappointing is that this is FNaF: a franchise that trained its fans to spot every possible detail or clue, to never assume that anything that's out of place is just a mistake. But ever since the graphic novels showed just how little the books care about consistency (and adhering to the literal written text), I've stopped extending those instincts to certain areas of the franchise. This guide even has some parts that should be interesting to chew on (just what's going on with "Chica's Secret Party"?), but I can't help but be cynical and wonder if it was all just a mistake.

If you're a FNaF fan, you'll probably find worth in it (and like I said, there's stuff in there with interesting implications), but for now, it's holding itself back from feeling like a trustworthy guide.
