This is a sweet story of bedtime, imagination, and a loving family. It's time for bed for Joe, who wants to play the Cuddly Bear game. He must ask everyone in his family if they have seen Cuddly Bear. Daddy suggests that Cuddly Bear might be on a boat to Brazil since he knows lots of bears there, and he's been learning to row. While a picture of Daddy and Joe occupies one page, the opposite page has pictures of a teddy bear rowing a boat and landing on a beach, greeted by many other bears. Brother Paul says that Cuddly Bear might be at the funfair. As Paul swings Joe on one page, we see Cuddly bear enjoying rides at the funfair on the other page. And so it goes with the family suggesting places that Cuddly Bear might be. It's a warm book that ends with a bedtime story.
