Chance Doyer had learned that much on their first meeting. But there was something keeping Amanda in the deserted ghost town where he'd found her, and Chance wasn't about to leave her there until he discovered for himself just what the devil was going on.
At first glance, the deserted town had seemed the answer to Amanda's dreams, but it was fast becoming the source of her worst nightmares. Chance seemed her only hope of escape. Yet how could she trust a handsome drifter whose piercing gaze and heated words made her want to turn and run for cover?
Really liked the book. As with everyone of her stories you get pulled in from the beginning and get to like the characters and want to find out what happens to them at the end. The whole ghost thing in the story was a bit off putting to me, but it did add something to the story that kept it from being dull.
