I’m so excited this is my first Arc review!
I loved how fast paced this book is .. it’s great to get you out a reading slump. This book had me thinking! Although it’s not an in dept book as such it gets your thought process going for similar things that have happened recently. Overall I love the book and would defo read again. The only thing I would say is I could of used more character development so I got attached.

The Zed Conspiracy is a short novel about zombies. It’s part courtroom drama and part x-files level conspiracy. I enjoyed the plot of this story and I wish it were longer. There are a ton of twists built into this story! Thank you kindly to the author for a copy to review.

Such a good book! Fantastic mix of conspiracy and horror. Only thing I’d ask for is for it to be longer (or have follow up stories that add to it perhaps?!). Amazing job!

Hey, I wrote this! Check it out :)

Sorry the book details look so messy. They were formatted so nicely, but mobile version sucks 😂

ALSO, there is a grammar error in it, that I didn’t want to bug the GoodReads librarians about. If you find it, you get bragging rights. 😅

Conspiracy indeed!

Poor Jonathan and Allison, both the victims of greed.
Meera's virus is both imaginative and believable. And it would be the innocent that would suffer.
I hope that there is more to this story in the future.

This was a fun short little zombie read. The government has a gene created that can turn people into zombies. Nothing could go wrong with thay right? Clearly these people have never watched a zombie movie in their life. The story shows the gene being created, the zombies being formed and an attack from some zombies. Cause again, creating zombies is alwahs a good idea. Insert eye roll here. The story also shows a court hearing and how one guy gets convicted of murdering a zombie. While this is just a story, it makes me wonder if it could actually happen. Good thing I've watched a lot of zombie movies. You know…for research purposes and all.

This “bite-sized” novella (under 70 pages) reads like a wild episode of Judge Judy, only except the defendant’s on trial for killing a zombie.

Flashback to a underground experiment run by Canada’s Prime Minister (Go Canada)… the virus escapes, gets shot, and we’re back in the courtroom where it all began.

It was quirky, and surprisingly fun. A perfect palate cleanser between heavier reads. I finished it in one sitting as it read so well.

💀 Would you stand trial for slaying the undead?

Omg!
This short read contains and exceptionally well executed writing prompt and has much more plot then I was initially expecting.
The plot is unique and original and well written.
I would definitely read this as a full length novel as well,

This book was very fast-paced and can’t lie the zombies threw me a bit! A lot of twists in such a short story, but it really made me think about other conspiracies. What a rabbit hole!

I would like to thank Shannon for the ARC and note that all of my thoughts/opinions are completely my own.
