thoroughly enjoyed this.

i saw this as soon as i walked into a gift shop, immediately fell in love, and (somehow) successfully convinced my mother to buy it for me.

in my opinion, informational writing has two main factors: the informational content and the quality of the writing. the content was lovely; i now know exponentially more about british sheep than i did previously. the writing style was solid, but nothing that stood out for me in particular. so: four stars.

ms parkin, i do not have a clue who the heck you wrote this for, but a queer asian immigrant teenage girl read and loved this, if you want any information about who on earth is buying your book.

i think i just enjoy niche informational books... saw a book about potatoes today in another gift shop and was immediately intrigued (unfortunately i was already getting another book from that shop and my mum also has a limit to how much she will indulge my eccentricities but ONE DAY that book will be mine)
