This story was a funny, and tension-packed story about two stubborn people who would rather deny their feelings than admit how badly they want each other.

Jermaine’s obsession with the mystery woman who ghosted him after a night together was equal parts sweet and chaotic, and Mimi’s refusal to acknowledge their past? Pure comedy. Their office tension is chef’s kiss, the chemistry is electric, and the emotional undertones—especially Mimi’s guardedness—add depth to all the banter.

If you love romcoms with messy adults, undeniable chemistry, and a BBW heroine who keeps a man on his toes, this one is a must-read.

This was a cute little one-night-stand-to-lovers novella with a plot twist I definitely didn’t see coming. The whole time I kept thinking about that Step Brothers line: “Oh my God, I’ve had the old bull, now I want the young calf” 😭😭😭

Soooooooo Coop and Mimi have a one-night stand, then sis ghosts him. Gives him a fake name and number and everything. Fast-forward a few weeks, and guess who ends up working together 💀💀.

Now Coop was way too pressed about that fake number situation for me. Like sir… y’all barely talked?? But who are me to judge lmao.

As for the chemistry… the sexual tension was there, no doubt. But outside the bedroom? Ehh. I wasn’t fully sold. Still, it was cute and light and gave what it needed to for a quick read. No regrets.

This was a quick and lighthearted read.

I didn’t expect the plot twist, but man, what a twist. I kinda wanted to see more conflict, because it just seemed like the forgiveness was too easy for the father.

The chemistry between FMC & MMC was good. The spice was HOT! I loved how the FMC owned her stage presence and her sexuality. My issue is, outside of the sex, I really missed how the relationship progressed to love. IDK

I wanna start off by saying that this book would not really be considered a enemies to lovers like describe. The two main characters previously had a one night stand and then ended up working together. I didn’t feel the chemistry that the two main characters were supposed to have. I feel like the only thing they did was have sex. This book just wasn’t interesting as I wanted it to be.

I downloaded this book during the Zoebub event and glad I gave it a try. It was a great palate cleanser after reading a lot of dark romance. The steam was heavy, the club scenes were vivid and Mimi’s performances stole the show. Great find during a free book event.

If you’re looking for a plus sized confident baddie that stands on business then this book is for you. Milena aka MiMi keeps it nice and cute after being played by her first love ( we’ve all been through it) visits home has an explosive unforgettable one night stand then boom job moves to her hometown. Her co-worker is none other Mr. One Nighter Coop buuttttt yea it doesn’t stay that way. It was the twist , the banter and the forget me not that really caught me. If you like a cute little cozy romance.
