This is my second time around reading this one
Beauty was absolutely right Sin should have never let himself get put in that position He could've been had Leslie banded frfr it's your Club so I feel were she's coming for As my man it's job to put these females in there place But I would've done Leslie the exact same way you getting these hands one because you about to learn stop playing with me especially when my man keeps telling keep it pushing but you keep testing it ok see how beat down you get and whoop old girl at Behind the bar too playing with the wrong one ...

I don’t know what to feel
This is a first time, author for me as I’ve never read her work before. The basis for the story was there however I noticed a couple things that didn’t lineup with the opening statement of the book. For these to be a re-release some things felt rushed and the editing could have been tighter. The book is set to be an update for the current year of 2024 yet there are some things that remained denotes the work being from a previous year.
The only other issue I feel that was major is that some of the chapters could’ve been combined because they seem so short like they were just lacking a scene break rather than a new chapter. I won’t give any spoilers, but I would definitely say the ending left me side eyeing it.
Overall, it has the potential to be fine tuned even more and I’d try the author again.

Okay Book
Loved by a Cali Boss was a funny and unhinged urban romance that had me laughing out loud. I liked that we got multiple POVs and saw everyone getting into relationships, but I wish it had been more fleshed out instead of suddenly dropping a new couple into the story. Sincere definitely shouldn’t have done certain things, but I appreciated that Beauty didn’t take him back right away and made him realize his mistakes. Some of the plotlines felt a little lost along the way, which kept it at a 3-star read for me.

I know this is a book and meant to escape reality however there were too many red flags in the beginning for beauty to have ever attempted to continue the relationship. Sometimes loving yourself is more important than being in love with the idea of a relationship. It is not ok to stalk kidnap and harass someone just to get what you want.

I had to go another round with this book cause I missed something and I am so happy that I did... please don't sleep on this author. At first I wasn't really feeling the whole gangster vibe thing but IT just started to get more and more fascinating as the storyline went on...

A lil bit miscommunication
In this book two people found something they were missing but the most mishap was they didn't communicate well with each other that caused them to bring out the toxicity. But the found something that was beautiful when they actually started listening to one another lol.

A must read!
Loved By A Cali Boss was so good!! I loved the bantering between the characters but most of all the love story! Sincere and Beauty did not play about their love 💕! The grandmother’s and mother’s statements had me laughing so hard!!

A wild love story
I really enjoyed Sincere & Beauty’s story. Sincere knew he loved Beauty the moment he first laid eyes on her, and he was determined to get her lol. This was a cute love story.

Sincere is certifiable!!!! I laughed at his antics clear through to the end end of this book. I promise I enjoyed this book so much that I need therapy because this book is full of toxicity and dysfunction, and I loved every messy minute

What A Crazy Ride
Beauty did not stand a chance. I know when Sincere “kidnapped” her we were going to be in for a ride. Shelly P did not disappoint. Would love to catch up with the whole crew.

4.5. A good urban/hood book with a dysfunctional kind of love. I still don’t know how Beauty fell for Sincere, but if she likes it I love it. And I’m happy Beauty handled Leslie and the bartender in that scene! My favorite character was Sunny, I need a story about her.
